Class 24 of 200 BJJ classes
Weight 164 lbs.
Instructor: Cassio
Cassio reviewed the hook sweep to taking the back and sweeping from the x-guard. All in all it a been a good week which focused on attacks from the close guard.
I am starting to feel much lighter although I think I may be overtraining. I am feeling tired and broke down before class.
However next week I have to start turning up the intensity and not sitting out any rounds.
I continue to try to work Robson Moura's side control and half guard stuff. I was showing his s-mount to RNC in class today. Once it is setup it is almost impossible to stop. Perhaps I will show it in video at some point.

Good rolls today although I am still working that half guard and transition sweeps.
Class 22 of 200 BJJ classes
Weight 165 lbs.
Instructor: Cassio
I got out late from meeting at work and missed warmups and all techniques.
I am still working that half guard and transition sweeps. Still had some really good rolls though. I can feel my timing getting better.
Started checking out Robson Moura's Super NoGi series...very nice stuff. I will be reviewing this DVD soon.
Class 21 of 200 BJJ classes
Weight 165 lbs.
Instructor: Cassio
Cassio return from Brazil after vacation. We went of the hook sweep when your opponent stands in your closed guard and a triangle varation after the sweep.
No easy rolls today. I trained with Marcos, Brad, Chad and Eric my cardio is beginning to hold up quite well. Starting to hold my own and attack a lot more.
I gotta try to get in for training on Wednesday if my work meeting gets off early. The San Jose Judo tournament is next Sunday so if I am going to compete I have to get in to judo class this week.
Class 20 of 200 BJJ classes
Weight 167 lbs.
Instructor: Marcos
Marcos went over three different entries into the flying triangle and none of them seem to work for me.
I even went as far as breaking out the Mino HD and trying to figure out what I was doing wrong but after watching my clumsy attempts I will not be posting them here.
As much as I do not like to I am going to have to start drilling techinque at least twice a week and getting my two days a week of Judo. The Pan-Ams are in 10 weeks so it is time to put up or shut up.
