Class 15 of 200 BJJ classes
Weight 167 lbs.

Instructor: Marcos

Marcos went over a cross knee pass from the half guard and a cross choke that is available from that pass.

I felt a little drained because of the antibotics and my ear swelled up again but all in all my rolling was fine.

I have to shoot unmountable next week for sure. I have been using this principal against everyone including a certain black belt with much success.

Be on the look out for the unmountable post coming soon.

Pan Ams are coming soon gotta keep grinding.

Happy hunting to the guys from my academy who are going down to ADCC trials in Santa Cruz.

Class 14 of 200 BJJ classes
Weight 167 lbs.

Instructor: Marcos

Marcos went over a shoulder/wrist lock combo and a back take from half guard (top).

Crossfit was light today:

1000 meters rowing
40 sit outs
50 situps

I noticed my earlobe was huge after training today so I went to the doctor and found out it was an boil and I got antibotics to treat it.

I am taking a rest day today trying to get the swelling to go down some so I can train fri and sat.

Class 13 of 200 BJJ classes
Weight 168 lbs.

Instructor: Marcos

Marcos went over his pressure control techniques from the top half guard.

Key points being:
1. Open the top lapel.
2. Reach around the head and grab top lapel under the opponents armpit.
3. Make sure the elbow stays in contact with the floor.
4. Drive shoulder into the opponent's neck by dropping weight and not squeezing.

Marcos also went over a back take to a lapel choke the was really sweet. I will be refilming it soon.

Started ramping for the Pan-ams with a crossfit workout after class today:

7 rounds of:
-15 thrusters
-12 pullups
- 9 vert jumps

Brown belt also showed me a tip one getting your knee through to the opponent's hip when going for the kimura on the bottom half guard.
